120ltr Rucksack, with detachable side pockets

military surplus

120ltr Rucksack with pockets removed, one of which is a first aid pack

55ltr Rucksack, two side pockets, top pocket and split main compartment

one pocket inside lid and one external

40ltr Rucksack, split main compartment, pocket on top cover, no side pockets.

Note safety whistle attached to side straps.

Try to get a rucksack which is going to fit you, they have SVS these days, it stands for "Size Variable System". Try also to get one with an internal frame, some rucksacks have a system that raises the pack off your back to give air circulation between you and the pack and this will minimise perspiration, nothing worse than a wet back when you come to put your pack on after a short break, YUK!
